Graphic View of This Recession vs. The Great Depression - What Could Have Been

When you see how the last 11 recessions impacted unemployment you really get a sense of how bad the current one is, but when you compare the current recession to the great depression, you begin to understand just how lucky we are the Barack Obama came along when he did.  That's my take, anyway.

Well, Calculated Risk has published another version comparing the Great Recession -- the current red line -- vs. the Great Depression (blue line).
